As a Motion Designer with a communication design & film background, I look for ways of putting inanimate objects in motion to move people, while also having a systematic approach to my work. 

You could (kinda) say that I've been in the business since childhood, my understanding of a fun time was to create LEGO stop motions and weird short films.
